My current research interests center around the field of Second Language Acquisition, specifically the acquisition of French by speakers of other Romance languages, the development of oral competency in French, and Portuguese as a third language.
My name is Graham Johnson and I'm currently a third-year PhD Student in Hispanic Linguistics at UGA. I also serve as an Instructor of Record in the Spanish program (SPAN 1001/1110/2001). My current research interests include: pragmatics and discourse analysis, discourse markers, pragmatic variation, and LGBTQIA+ discourse and identity, as well as sociolinguistics, language attitudes, historical linguistics, and phonetics/phonology. 
Michelle Fulton is a doctoral candidate in Romance languages with an emphasis on 19th century French Literature. Previously, she studied Vocal Performance at the University of Kentucky with a minor in French, and then continued on into the Master's program at the University of Kentucky pursuing a degree in French and Francophone Studies.
