The minor must be a well-defined set of courses either within the department or outside the department. Your advisory committee will work with you to define a minor and the courses you should take. The hours of credit of ROML 8000 level (usually taught in English) which may be taken at the Ph.D. level are limited to 6. ROML 7700 for Teaching assistants (counts as one of the required courses) Demonstrate knowledge of one relevant foreign language (other than English).
