Linguazine

Linguazine began as a zine created for the sections of SPAN 3020 taught by Dr. Brenda Ross (Fall 2024 & Spring 2025), showcasing student work produced for the course.

By the third edition, the project expanded: it now includes an entry from a student outside Dr. Ross’s sections of SPAN 3020, and it has grown beyond course-specific work. Recent editions feature:

  • Descriptions of study abroad experiences
  • Stories and photos from travels to Spanish-speaking countries
  • Poems, short stories, and academic essays originally created for SPAN 3020
  • Editorial contributions from SPAN 3020 students themselves

We are proud of Linguazine’s evolution and look forward to its continued growth.
