PhD (2024), Hispanic Linguistics Instructor of Spanish I am a PHD candidate in Hispanic linguistics. The topic of my dissertation is about predicate fronting in Spanish and Chinese. My areas of interest include left periphery structure in Chinese and Spanish, the syntax and pragmatics of predicate fronting, precedural meaning, and argument structure in Chinese. In my spare time, I like trying new recipes. I love yarns and fabric. I enjoy making blankets and sweaters. I served as a Chinese instructor for the STARTALK program (National Security Agency and National Foreign Language Center). My dream for the future is to be able to teach Chinese, keep doing research in hispanic linguistics, and at the same time, have my own taller so that I can knit and sew clothes.
