Caroline holds an M.A. in Linguistics from the University of Georgia, where she is currently an instructor of Spanish and an member of the Second Language Acquisition and Cognition (SLAC) lab. She teaches a variety of Spanish courses, and her research interests focus on Hispanic Linguistics, Second Language Acquisition, and Sociophonetics.

Originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, Caroline earned her B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a double major in Linguistics and Romance Studies, along with a minor in Spanish Translation and Interpreting. In 2021, she participated in the Global Studies and Spanish summer program at the University of Deusto in Bilbao, Spain.

In addition to her work at UGA, Caroline serves as the Spanish Program Director at Casa de Amistad, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the local Hispanic/Latinx community.
